celebrating 25 years in business

This year we are celebrating 25 years in business after kicking off the occasion at the end of 2019 with an activity-packed team building day.

Our History

Tecman was initially founded to supply the signs and graphics industry with performance tape. Three staff members with slitting equipment and a flatbed press have grown into a team of over 20 with an extensive conversion facility supporting industries across the globe, and we are proud that our people have helped shape our business.

Through continuous investment in our company and supported by an R&D programme galvanised by an inherent drive for innovation, our material and product development has helped enhance industries for 25 years.

During this time we have developed important customer partnerships, driving significant investment in our capabilities, machinery and R&D, and facilitating the development of ground-breaking materials and numerous product approvals from automotive OEM’s.

Our creative and collaborative approach to new projects has enabled the development of solutions to seemingly impossible challenges, whilst building long-lasting partnerships with our customers and supply partners based on mutual respect.

Our Future

Today we are excited about what the next 25 years will bring and we intend to lead the way with innovation and a commitment to quality.

We have numerous ground-breaking products in development, including DAAT® structural adhesive film, ALFA® acoustic materials with impregnated fibres and micro coatings, plus numerous next-generation adhesive tape technologies.

Additionally, we are working towards achieving IATF16949:2016 certification within the next 6 months and will continue to build on this through continuous improvement in our processes, systems and quality management.
