The new investment is in direct response to demand for larger components from automotive OEM’s and Tier 1 suppliers.

With a 2m x 1.5m cutting head, the new beam press expands our scope of bespoke product offerings and solutions, covering all automotive NVH and protection film requirements for every area of the vehicle, including bonnet linings.

Kevin Porter, UK Managing Director explains ‘This is another development here at Tecman. Investing in this 100-tonne automated beam press with its 2m x 1.5m cutting head really does expand our capabilities even further.

It broadens the scope of our product offering to cover all flat cut NVH parts for pretty much every part of the vehicle. It increases our capacity significantly and enables us to be even more competitive on high volume requirements.
